Abstract

|
Degenerative osteoarthritis (OA) in knee joint is the leading cause of pain and musculoskeletal disability worldwide. And the incidence and prevalence of knee OA is increasing with aging process. There are many treatment options available for OA of knee but nonoperative management is aimed at symptomatic treatment. Therefore, operative options such as arthroscopic operation, correctional osteotomy, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, and total knee arthroplasty should be considered when knee OA is progressed.
